Agnese Augello received a Laurea degree in Computer Science Engineering (cum laude) from the University of Palermo and achieved in 2008 the PhD degree in Computer Science Engineering.  From 2018 to  2022 she was an adjunct professor at the University of Palermo, and from 2019 to 2022 Reference Professor at DAMS, University of Palermo.  She is author of several scientific publications in international conferences and journals. She is in the program committee of international conferences and workshops, and editor for “Frontiers on Robotics and AI”. Her main research interest regard the modelling of cognitive agents, with a particular focus on issues regarding the modelling and implementation of cognitive architectures,  conversational modules, methodologies for representation and processing of knowledge at multiple levels of abstraction, cognitive robotics. Her research activity also deals with the modelling of higher-level capabilities, such as computational creativity and ethical behaviour.
