The project aims to create an advanced IT platform for digital health which, by exploiting the integration of clinical workflows and telerehabilitation solutions, will help both cancer patients to follow home clinical rehabilitation pathways and healthcare professionals to verify the correct path rehabilitation. In fact: i) patients, through the use of augmented reality, will be able to efficiently carry out specific home rehabilitation; ii) healthcare professionals, through the services that will be offered by the platform, will be able to verify the rehabilitation process and therefore its correct execution. The solution will be aimed at improving innovative health processes and services, supporting healthcare professionals in the phases of early diagnosis, assignment of the clinical path, rehabilitation and analysis of progress in the treatment process, guaranteeing assistance, optimization of health paths and management of all data collected using standard representation models. In this way, interoperability and integration with already existing solutions will be guaranteed, and the efficient use of decision-making processes through the use of artificial intelligence and data analysis methodologies. The characteristics of the innovative platform for the intelligent management of an oncology patient, which will be open, modular, replicable and based on technical standards such as HL7 FHIR, will enable the proposed solution to interact with other telemedicine services , be enabling the management of different healthcare processes and be interoperable with the main healthcare information systems, with particular reference to the Electronic Health Record. Furthermore, the innovative character of RIGOLETTO concerns both in terms of new solutions and services that intend to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare organizations, and in terms of the creation of new market opportunities and business models.
