Easy Catalogue: POR FESR CALABRIA 2007-2013.

The main objective of the project “Easy Cat” has been the creation of an innovative and highly automated system for the construction of an online catalog dedicated to retail operators.
The system has the ability to access the information available on the Web, to extract the information and images needed to construct a Web catalog in a coherent way from different sources,
to facilitate the consultation of the catalog by users. In particular, methods, models, and algorithms for the automatic extraction and semantics from the Web have been defined and developed.
The algorithms allow the extraction and the semantic querying of a large amount of data efficiently in the cloud environment.
