Ivana Marra is Senior Applied Scientist at the Institute for High-Performance Computing and Networking (ICAR) of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and since 2014 she is the person in charge of Naples Secondary Branch of ICAR.
She received her Laurea degree in Computer Science from the University of Salerno and started her activity at CNR first as system analyst and then as information system manager within research projects on parallel computing.
Subsequently she dealt with research and technology transfer issues within the “Development of Digital Technologies for Advanced Graphics in Industrial and Commercial Applications” FESR Project, focusing her interests mainly on the design and development of applications for high resolution 3D graphic animations by using motion capture systems.
She currently coordinates project management and financial reporting activities within European, National and Regional research and experimental development projects; she supervises and monitors project spending progress processes and interacts with auditors of funding agencies.
During the preparatory process, related to calls for project proposals within funding programs, she gives technical and administrative support and also serves as Organizing Committee member of International conferences and workshops.
She is co-author of several technical and financial reports.
