The CNR-ICAR, together with the University of Palermo, organizes the sixteenth annual conference of the Italian Bioinformatics Society: BITS 2019. The event will take place in Palermo from 26 to 28 June 2019, at the Sala De Seta of the Cantieri Culturali della Zisa. The Italian Society of Bioinformatics is a scientific association that aims to bring together researchers interested in Bioinformatics, intended as a multidisciplinary science that deals with the study of biological problems at the molecular and cellular levels, using computational methods and models. The conference will bring together several international researchers who will discuss the topics of bioinformatics and its applications and present the progress of research in the field of computational biology.
