The ARTES 4.0 event dedicated to the official launch of the first Call for Industrial Research and Experimental Development Projects in Industry 4.0 will be held on November 15, 2019 from 9 am at the Research Area of the CNR in Palermo. The event “Training and Innovation Projects for Business 4.0” organized by ARTES 4.0 in Palermo is of national importance and includes interventions by prestigious speakers from the business and academic world who are part of the ARTES 4.0 Competence Center on two of the main areas of intervention of the activities: both the development of innovation and know-how, and the support to skills and professional training in the Industry 4.0 sector.
In Sicily ARTES 4.0 will operate in particular through the Macronode ARTES4.0@CNR with the aim of proposing its activities in the regional context in concert and in synergy with business organizations and institutions, and with the support of Digital Innovation Hub of Confindustria Sicilia and the Sicilian Region. The close link with the latter in terms of innovation and development of skills in the I4.0 area will be formalized on the occasion of the initiative on November 15th.
In fact, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Sicilian Region and the ARTES 4.0 Competence Center is expected at the opening of the works, in the presence of the President of the CNR Massimo Inguscio.
